GARDA SUPPORT

Timely reminder to us all. We are all probably letting the younger ones spend more time online in order to play games virtually with friends, and to communicate with school friends. But we should also be clear as to what apps and social media platforms our young kids are using.

Unfortunately, we see too many incidents where children may be sent unsuitable content by unscrupulous individuals, so it is important to take control of what our children have access to and what content they can receive. Learn about what platforms are suitable to use and what are more appropriate for adults.

PORT TIDY TOWNS

Now that we have some better weather and brighter evenings why not get involved and do a litter pick in the area where you live. Every little bit helps in keeping where we live looking good. It’s amazing what can be achieved if we all help out.  Remember many hands make light work.
