BIRTHDAY WISHES

It was a great morning on Friday February 12 at the home of Michael Dunne, Avondale Estate, as Michael got a surprise delivery of a basket of over 300 birthday cards for his 85th birthday from family, well-wishers & friends. A call went out from his niece Berni Hurley for to send him 85 cards. People turned out in their cars to drive by the house to wave to Michael. A great tribute to a true gentleman & a very popular man in Portarlington.

Good health & happiness to Michael for the future.

WALKERS

A big well done to local walking group ” We Walk Together” who recently walked to raise funds for the “Cuisle Cancer Support Centre”. Funds like this help the Centre to provide all services free of charge. Well done to all.
