VARIETY SHOW
Portarlington Lions Club are delighted to announce that they are hosting a Variety Show on Friday November 17, in St. Patrick’s Primary School, Canal Road, Portarlington – commencing at 8pm (sharp). Doors open at 7.30 pm – Admission €5. Various local artists and guest artists appearing. Hope to see you all there.

SOCIAL DANCE
St Brigid’s Social Club Cloneyhurke are holding a Social Dance Night at St Brigid’s Hall, Cloneyhurke (R323CY89) on Saturday November 18 from 9pm to 12am. Music by Lawrence Campion. Admission- €10 and refreshments are served. A great night assured.

TRACTOR RUN
The Fisherstown Tractor & Truck Run will have their Christmas lights run on the Sunday December 17 in Ballybrittas Village. So if anyone wants to join us with Tractors and Trucks light up, it will be greatly appreciated.

PORTS ALL SHOOK UP
Colaiste Iosagain are putting on “All Shook Up” the musical on November 29 & 30, also December 1. This is a Broadway musical inspired by Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night and music from Elvis Presley. This promises to be an incredible production with over 100 talented students & 50 staff members involved. You can show your support by attending one of the fantastic shows.

Grow Mental Health Support meeting takes place every Thursday afternoon from 2.30pm until 4.30pm in the Social Services Centre, Link Road, Portarlington.

Sympathy
Deepest Sympathy to the family of Bridget Maguire (née Mooney) Mullingar, Westmeath & formerly Kilbride House Portarlington, who passed away on Sunday November 5.
Bridget was predeceased by her parents Christopher & Mary, her brothers Charlie and Christy. She will be deeply missed by her heartbroken husband and best friend Tom, her loving sister Betty and brother Johnny, her dear nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and many friends. Funeral took place in Mullingar on Friday November 10. May Bridget’s gentle soul rest in Peace.
