Performance Anxiety in Sport talks for Teens.

This interesting session will be relevant for parents and sports people alike and will explain how to deal with performance anxiety and nervousness in sport and life, while it will also look at and explain the ‘Mayo Phenomenon’ in GAA. It will include Q&A opportunities afterwards. Keith Begley is a Sport Ireland Accredited sport psychologist, who has worked with numerous successful inter-county GAA teams and high performance athletes. On Wednesday October 11 @ 7pm.

SYMPATHY

Deepest Sympathy to the family of Katie Donnelly, Portumna Co. Galway & Portarlington who passed away suddenly on Wednesday September 13. Katie will be sadly missed by her loving mam Anne, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family, friends  & her work colleagues caring for the elderly. Funeral took place on Sunday September 17 in Tiernascragh, Ballinasloe. May Katie rest in Peace.

Deepest Sympathy to the family of Margaret Jones (nee Meehan), Foxcroft Ave, & formerly Tierhogar Portarlington, who passed away on Monday September 18. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Tony Jones, parents Michael & Margaret Meehan. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, relatives & friends. Funeral took place on Thursday September 21 at St John’s Church Killenard, with burial in the adjoining Cemetery. May Margaret’s gentle soul rest in Peace.
