The Portarlington Women’s Shed are meeting every Thursday morning from 10.30am to 12.30pm at the Portarlington Community Centre. Lots of activities & outings. New members are very welcome.

DANCE CLASSES

Adult dance classes are back on September 5th after a Summer break at the Portarlington Community Centre. Every Tuesday night from 7pm to 8pm. Beginners & improvers. Places must be booked. For more information call Lisa at 085 7416886. No partner required.

SYMPATHY

Deepest Sympathy to Fintan Birchall, the Maisonettes, Crowe Lane on the death of his beloved brother Eoin Birchall, Dunmurray House, Kildare & late of Prosperous, Co. Kildare who passed away on Tuesday August 22nd at Tallaght hospital. Eoin was predeceased by his parents Jack & Brigid. He will be sadly missed by his loving brother Fintan, sisters Merna, Jacqueline & Denise, extended family & friends. Funeral took place in Prosperous on Friday August 25th.  May Eoin’s gentle soul rest in Peace.

SYMPATHY

Deepest Sympathy to the family of Imelda Keenan (nee Murray), Station Court Portarlington & formerly Sandymout Dublin who passed away suddenly on Tuesday August 22nd. Imelda was predeceased by her parents Cornelius & Mary, brother Michael & former husband Michael. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Rachel, sons Nigel & Dwayne, 5 grandchildren, sisters Sadie & Kathleen, brother Thomas, extended family, neighbours & friends. Funeral took place in Sandymount on Saturday August 26th.  May Imelda’s gentle soul rest in Peace.
