CLONOHILL GARDENS
Clonohill Gardens will host an Open Weekend in aid of Laois Hospice Foundation on Saturday, July 1 & Sunday July 2. Located adjacent to the Laois Angling Centre, Coolrain ( R32 NF 80 ). The
Gardens feature – Woodland, Jacob’s Walk, Lawns punctuated by many colour themed herbaceous borders, with the Slieve Bloom mountains providing a colourful background, and a Walled Garden full of treasures overlooking Clonohill Lake.
Afternoon tea will be served in the Lodge and visitors are welcome to enjoy a lakeside walk while supporting the amazing services provided by Laois Hospice Foundation.
Floral Artist and Garden Designer, Enda Thompson- Phelan will welcome visitors to his Clonohill Gardens from 2-6pm on both days.
CROAGH PATRICK
Pat Burbages group will once again climb Croagh Patrick on Saturday July 8. Proceeds this year to Port Meals on Wheels.
