This group are proud to once again to be bringing you the Laois Africa Day 2023. Only thing is this year is going to be way better than the other year’s, as we are expecting more countries. That means more food, more culture, more music and more happy faces. See you on Saturday June 3 at the Portlaoise Leisure Centre from 12pm to 5pm.

WOMENS SHED
The very enjoyable Women’s Shed takes place at the Portarlington Community Centre every Thursday from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Plenty of activities & outings. New members always welcome.

Deepest Sympathy to Mary & Johnny Maher and family Ballymorris on the death of Mary’s brother Paddy Lee, Mountmellick, who passed away on Saturday May 6th. Paddy was predeceased by his parents Thomas & Ellen, son Joseph, grandsons Jack & Callum. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary (nee Delaney), sons, daughters, his much loved 18 grandchildren, brothers, sisters, extended family, neighbours & friends. Funeral took place on Monday May 8. May Paddy rest in Peace.
