Operation Transformation rolled into Port recently to record for their program which was televised on Wednesday February 8. The Star of the ad break challenge was Terry Lawlor who is known far and wide for his dedication to the town of Port & to Port & Laois GAA.

Well done to Terry & to all who came out on the night to support him. Proud night for the Town.

Do some good with your unwanted Christmas gifts by regifting them to Portarlington Lions Club. Hand lotions, aftershaves, scarves, gloves, slippers, sweets, puzzles or small toys are only an example.

Your donated unused and unopened gifts will be used in hampers we’ll raffle over the coming months to raise much needed funds to use helping others. Portarlington Lions Club receives NO funds from anyone, only what we collect in our town, and 100% of funds raised goes back into our community! The collection point for new unused gifts is in Whelan’s Electrical Main St, and your generosity will be greatly appreciated!
