YOGA FOR MUM & BABY

New Mum and Baby Yoga starting on Monday January 16 for 6 weeks, at the Portarlington Community Centre. Times are 10.30am to 11.30am. Every baby welcome, with no pressure to participate during class! Very deepest Sympathy to the family of Christina O’Connor (nee Coleman), St Brigid’s Sq Portarlington who passed away on Friday January 6, surrounded by her loving family. Christina will be sadly missed by her loving husband Jimmy, daughters Noreen & Pauline, son Seamus, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Maureen, extended family, neighbours & friends. Funeral Mass & burial took place on Sunday January 8. May Christina’s gentle soul rest in Peace.

Healthy Walking– After their fantastic performance last year, the Club are hoping to do even better this year. The 1st group walk started on Thursday January 12 & will continue every Thursday night at 6:30pm at McCann Park Portarlington. Good luck everyone.

LOTTO-Laois Clubs combined Lotto draw takes place as usual, every Tuesday night. Next week’s Jackpot is €6,400. Tickets can be bought from club members or online via www.play.clubforce.com

AGM-The AGM of the Portarlington GAA club takes place on Sunday January 22 at 3pm at Scoil Phadraig. All members welcome to attend.

Healthy Club-This year Gracefield GAA Healthy Club is taking part in the Ireland Lights Up Challenge. The Club would love to see as many people as possible of all ages join them in this steps challenge. The goal is to walk 4000km as a group effort. Download the Mylife app from Irish life, join the challenge, choose Leinster and then choose Gracefield. Gracefield’s Healthy club will meet once a week as a group starting January 11th. Every step during the week counts. We can reach our goal as a community.
