MEALS ON WHEELS
The Portarlington Social Services/Meals on Wheels will celebrate 50 years’ service next September.  We remember the wonderful people who came together in 1972 to start this essential Service.
 If we want to keep going, we need new members to join our committee. We cooked and delivered up to 10,000 dinners last year. Please contact Ann (Bourke) Dunne (Secretary) at 0874116101. E-mail annmdun@hotmail.com for more information.

SOCIAL CLUB

St Brigid’s Social club Cloneyhurke will hold the following events for all interested. Keep Fit for all levels of fitness. Takes place every Friday night from 7pm to 8pm.

New Grow Mental Health Peer Support meeting taking place every Thursday afternoon starting at 2.30pm until 4.30pm in the Social Services Centre Portarlington. Any person over 18 years of age is welcome to attend. Deepest Sympathy to the family of Mgr William (Bill) O’Keefe who recently passed away in California. His brother Brian O’Keefe who passed away in California last December. Both brothers are originally from Patrick St Portarlington. May they both rest in Peace.

Sadie will be sadly missed by her loving husband Gerard, daughters Tracey & Lynda, sons Gerard & Alan, her adored 8 grandchildren, brothers, sisters, extended family & friends. May Sadie rest in Peace.
