LOURDES PILGRIMAGE
Portarlington Lourdes Pilgrimage 2022 will take place from August 5 to 12, at a cost of €895 per person sharing (single room supplement €265, subject to availability). This includes transfers to and from both airports, and 7 nights full board at the Solitude Hotel. 20kg baggage allowance applies.
A special thank you to Portarlington Credit Union who have kindly set up a savings scheme for anyone intending travelling on this year’s trip. If anyone wishes to save for the Lourdes trip, they can either set up a direct debit, or use the online app to save. Simply contact a member of staff in PCU to have either option set up. A deposit of €250 to be paid before March 25 in order to secure your place on this year’s trip.
Also, for those intending travelling, it’s advisable to check your passports, to ensure the expiry date covers this year’s trip. Plus, check that your E11 cards are in date too.

New Grow Mental Health Peer Support meeting taking place every Thursday afternoon starting at 2.30pm until 4.30pm in the Social Services Centre Portarlington. Laois Clubs combined Lotto draw takes place as usual, every Thursday night. This week’s jackpot is €5,200. Tickets can be bought from club members or online via www.play.clubforce.com.

All Bingo players will be happy to hear that our weekly bingo returned last Tuesday January 25. It will continue every Tuesday night at 8pm in the Port GAA centre. Over €3,000 in prize money.
MONSTER DRAW-The Laois GAA clubs monster draw is coming up. 4 draws with over €125,000 in prize money and 50 individual prizes per draw are up for grabs.
A ticket for the 4 draws is €130, or a handy installment plan of €32.50 per month for 4 months is also available. Maybe buy one as a family either.
