The Club have some fantastic news. The club received great news from Colaiste Iosagain that they can return to where they had been hosting the Dojo for the last number of years. They have held a number of online classes up until last April in Microbits, Python, Unity & Scratch and also continuing with their sister club MakePort. The intention is to start up again in the New Year – pandemic permitting. Please get in touch if you can help. Deepest Sympathy to the family of Maureen Hoey (nee Brophy), Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny & formerly Gracefield, Portarlington, who passed away on Wednesday January 12. Maureen will be sadly missed by her loving husband Binnie, sons Daniel, William, Gerry & Pascal, daughters Maureen, Breda & Patricia, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, extended family & friends. Funeral Mass took place on Sunday January 23 at St Patrick’s Church, Clogh, with burial in the adjoining Cemetery. May Maureen’s gentle soul rest in Peace. 


Deepest Sympathy to the family of Denis (Dinny) Lyons, Derrymore, Ballymorris & late of St Patrick’s Tce who passed away on Thursday January 20. Dinny was predeceased by his parents Denis & Polly, brothers Dermot & Robbie. He will be sadly missed by his brothers Jimmy, Raymond, Martin & Kevin, sisters Tanya, Eileen & Ann-Marie, his nieces & nephews, extended family, neighbours & friends. Funeral Mass took place at St Michael’s Church Portarlington on Sunday January 23, with burial after in St Michael’s Cemetery. May Dinny’s gentle soul rest in Peace.
