A New Product Development Programme course is happening both online and inhouse at MakePort Makerspace in the Portarlington Enterprise Centre in the coming weeks, and is hosted by Local Enterprise Office Laois.The course is delivered by experienced industry professionals who are product designers and digital fabrication experts, and will help you design and create new products. Deepest Sympathy to the family of James (Jimmy) Lewis, New Inn Cross, Emo who passed away on Friday October 22. Jimmy was predeceased by his loving wife Bridget. He will be sadly missed by his daughters Elizabeth, Catherine & Pauline, sons Liam & John, brothers Bertie, Phil, Joe & Wally, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family & friends. Requiem Mass took place on Sunday October 24 at St. Paul’s Church, Emo, with burial after in St Paul’s (New) Cemetery. May Jimmy rest in Peace.

Deepest Sympathy to the family of Brigid Dempsey (nee McDonald), Jamestown, Ballybrittas & formerly Drumcondra, Dublin who passed away on Sunday October 24. Brigid will be sadly missed by her loving husband Michael, sons Oliver & Martin, daughter Lisa, sister Agnes, grandchildren Aidan, Jack, Emily & Sofia, extended family, carers, neighbours & friends. Requiem Mass took place on Tuesday October 26 at the Sacred Heart Church, Rath, with burial after in St John’s Church Killenard. May Brigid’s gentle soul rest in Peace.

Deepest Sympathy to the family of Dr. Oonagh McKeagney, Portarlington & formerly Co. Galway who passed away on Tuesday October 26. Oonagh was predeceased by her loving husband Dr. Charles. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, daughter Fiona, sons Fergus, Francis, Niall, Eoin, Garrett & Morgan, her 28 adored grandchildren, extended family, neighbours & many friends. Requiem Mass took place on Friday October 29 at St Michael’s Church, with burial after in St Michael’s Cemetery. May Oonagh’s gentle soul rest in Peace.
