PORTARLINGTON REGENERATION
Portarlington Enterprise Centre informs that in accordance with the “Portarlington Regeneration Strategy 2030” Laois County Council is seeking to improve the streetscape and public realm of Portarlington Town. The Business Support Unit are now accepting applications for the Portarlington Façade Enhancement Scheme in the following areas – Main Street, Market Square and French Church Street. The scheme is available to both commercial and residential premises and interested businesses/residents can apply by downloading the application form from Laois County Councils website below or by contacting Linda Meredith at 086 7839729 or email: lmeredith@laoiscoco.ie.
SYMPATHY

Deepest Sympathy to the family of Anne O’Toole (nee Walsh) Tullamore & formerly St Michael’s Park Portarlington who passed away on Friday June 25 at Esker Ri Nursing Home, Clara. Anne was predeceased by her loving husband John. She will be sadly missed by her sons Denis & John, daughters Joan, Geraldine & Olivia, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Mai, Catherine (McCann) & Julia (Leavy), brothers Jim, Paddy & Tony, extended family, neighbours & friends. Requiem Mass took place on Tuesday June 29 at the Church of the Assumption, Tullamore, with burial after in Clonminch Cemetery. May Anne’s gentle soul rest in Peace.

SUMMER CAMP 2021
Portarlington R.F.C are now taking bookings for this year’s professionally run Summer Camp, which takes place from August 16 to August 20, (10am – 2pm each day).
The camp is for girls and boys aged 4 to 12, and no rugby experience is required as the camp consists of general movement games that focus on building hand-eye coordination, agility, team work, communication skills and most importantly FUN!
