DONATION
A fantastic donation was presented by Stephen Mulhall from the Power House gym to our local Society of St Vincent de Paul. When making the presentation Stephen stated that he likes to give something back to the local community. Kieran Madden on behalf of the Society thanked Stephen for his generous donation and to assure him that it will be put to very good use in helping the less well off in Portarlington and surrounding areas.

The resumption of Public Wordship, with ongoing restrictions are as follows-Parish Churches are open to the Public. Masses with 50 people allowed. Baptisms with individual baptism-6 people allowed. Funerals-Maximum of 50 people may attend. Weddings with a maximum of 50 people may attend the Church. SUMMER CAMP 2021
Portarlington R.F.C are now taking bookings for this year’s professionally run Summer Camp, which takes place from August 16 to August 20, (10am – 2pm each day).
The camp is for girls and boys aged 4 to 12, and no rugby experience is required as the camp consists of general movement games that focus on building hand-eye coordination, agility, team work, communication skills and most importantly FUN!

AUTISM
Please check out this beautiful book called “Autism, The Three Musketeers” written by Niamh McCormack from Cloneygowan, who a lot of you will know, especially from working many years in Supervalu. Niamh’s wonderful Mam Liz passed away suddenly 4 years ago, which left Niamh & her brother Stephen devastated at the loss of their beloved Mam.
