COMMUNITY ALERT: With the winter time in everyone is asked to keep an eye on their elderly neighbours. Call regularly to see if they need shopping, food or fuel to keep them warm in these very cold and damp days and nights. This is all the more important since Covid is here and older people are afraid to go out in case they get the dreaded virus. Also it’s important to make sure their houses are safe and keep a watch for strange cars/vans in your area. Contact the Gardaí if you see something unusual, do not approach any person/persons. Take care and be safe.
