Annual Dawn to Dusk Walk Fundraiser just over a week away
SOSAD Laois would like to invite you all to take part in the annual fundraising walk Dawn to Dusk. We are inviting everyone to join us in walking 7kms on Saturday, the 10th of September 2022, which is World Suicide Prevention Day. We have 2 locations for this event, the first is The Portlaoise Plaza at J17 on the M7 from 8am to 6pm. The second location is The Gate House Bar in Emo Village from 10am to 6pm.
Or you can choose to get your T-shirt posted to you and do the walk anywhere in Ireland. You can choose when to walk any time between Dawn to Dusk. More info on Dawn to Dusk and how to register:
We are also hosting a memorial event on the same day for World Suicide Prevention Day
– an annual world wide event to raise awareness of suicide and suicide prevention across the globe. Our memorial event will be at our office in Portlaoise where people have the opportunity to come down to paint a stone in memory of a loved one and light a candle. The event is open to the public from 3pm – 8pm.
