Portlaoise Parish Church hosts free concert in aid of Ukraine
A free concert in aid of Ukraine will be held in Portlaoise Parish Church on Sunday 22nd January. The concert will commence at 3.00pm and is expected to last no longer than an hour. The concert is free to attend although any donation for Ukraine will be welcome on the day.
The concert is being organised by Sofiia Kravets and is aid of a Ukrainian charity called ‘Riy’. This charity provides much needed sleeping equipment for soldiers living in freezing conditions in Ukraine.
The music will consist of an array of different musicians including those from Ukraine and Ireland. Performers will include Heather Fogarty, Ciaran Campbell, Tom Conroy, Elaine Walsh, Louise Kavanagh and lots more talented singers and musicians.
A raffle will also be held on the day.
