Latest Laois Event: Expressway Bus specials laid on for Forest Fest
Easier than ever to get to Forest Fest by Expressway bus specials
Forest Fest is pleased to announce that it is partnering with CIE to provide special bus services for the July festival in Emo village in Co Laois.
The daily return and weekend bus services from Dublin for Forest Fest are a direct response to music fans requests for a convenient access and comfortable way to attend the festival from July 21 to 23.
The buses will run each day of the festival from Dublin to Forest Fest in Emo, also serving stops on route in Naas, Newbridge, Kildare Town and Monasterevin.
The timetable is scheduled to get Forest Fest fans to the festival each day as the entertainment gets underway, with a return service departing the festival venue at 1am each night. There will also be a return service on Monday, July 24 at 11am to facilitate those who wish to attend and avail of the camping or glamping at the festival for the weekend.
Friday’s bus service for Forest Fest will depart Custom House Quay at 2pm with a return service from the festival at 1am. Similarly, the daily services on Saturday and Sunday will depart the city at 11am.
“We are keen to add this facility for Forest Fest fans, making it easier than ever for them to get safely and comfortably to and from the festival. This means they can enjoy the festival without having to drive or park in the knowledge that they have a safe way home with the Expressway service. These Bus Eireann Dublin return buses are in addition to our festival shuttle buses operated by the reputable Portlaoise firm, Martley’s Buses serving Portlaoise, Portarlington, Mountmellick, the local hinterland, hotels and the train stations on a hop-on, hop-off basis right across the weekend,” outlined Forest Fest promoter, Philip Meagher, who said the bus services are another example of how the festival is evolving and responding to the needs of its audience.

The timetable and ticketing for the Forest Fest specials will be available from Friday, June 2 from www.expressway.ie
Pre-booking is essential as tickets are only available online and the service is based on advance reservations. One-way and return tickets are available.
