THURSDAY JULY 9th: After a cool start, cloud will quickly build through the early morning. Overcast for the afternoon with some light scattered drizzle in the early evening. Mild with highs of 17c to 19c in light southerly breezes. OVERNIGHT: Overcast with mist. Mild and rather humid. Lows of 12c or 13c in light southerly breezes.
FRIDAY JULY 10th: Rather cloudy in the morning with overcast conditions for the afternoon. Mild and humid in light to moderate southerly breezes as highs reach up to 21c. In the late afternoon some patchy rain and drizzle will form. OVERNIGHT: Rain or drizzle clearing to the east to give a mostly clear night in light SW winds. Lows of 9c to 11c.
SATURDAY JULY 11th: Partly cloudy with sunny spells for the morning and early afternoon, however showers will develop during the afternoon, turning persistent for a time. Highs of 17c to 19c in moderate southwesterly winds. OVERNIGHT: Overcast with outbreaks of rain quickly dying out. Cool with lows of 8c to 11c in moderate westerly winds.
SUNDAY JULY 12th: Cloudy at first however this will break up to give some sunny spells for a time during the late morning and early afternoon before cloud increases from the southwest ahead of the next band of rain. Highs of 16c to 18c at best in westerly breezes. OVERNIGHT: Rain arriving during the night from the southwest. Lows of 10c to 12c in freshening SW winds.
MONDAY JULY 13th: Overcast with persistent rain for the morning and early afternoon. Clearer weather extending from the west later. Highs of 16c to 19c, highest where sunshine develops in the late afternoon. Windy from the southwest with the wind decreasing later and backing west as the rain clears. OVERNIGHT: Clear and cool with lows 7c to 9c or 10c in light west to northwest breezes.
NEXT WEEK OUTLOOK: Rather cool for mid-July but holding mostly dry with sunny spells. The nights will be notably cool with lows dropping to between 3c and 8c. Thursday and Friday show some uncertainty with heavy rain near the south – whether or not this moves north remains to be seen. It does look like becoming a small bit milder next weekend as high pressure builds from the SW.
