Laois Weather Update
FIRST TASTE OF WINTER ON THE WAY?
Tomorrow, Thursday will begin dry across many areas of the Midlands, however cloud further to the north and west will spread to all areas bringing with it some patchy light rain from time to time. Feeling cool with highs of 8-12 degrees Celsius.
Friday will be cooler again as winds switch to a northerly direction at this stage. The day itself should be mainly dry across the south Midlands however further to the north passing showers of rain or hail are likely.

Over the purse of the weekend conditions will remain rather cold, with temperatures by day stuck in single digits. The day’s themselves should be mainly day and bright although some passing showers, mainly of rain and hail will drift into northern and eastern areas of the Midlands from time to time.
Caution is advised if driving on the roads this weekend as frost and icy stretches may become an issue, especially on untreated roads and surfaces.
