Laois-powered UCD aiming for promotion
The players of UCD have lit up both domestic and European football this term with their exhiliarting brand of attacking football. Tonight Athlone Town travel into the Belfield Bowl to take on a high-flying UCD side butressed by goalkeeper Niall Corbet from Clonaslee and Christopher Mulhall from Portlaoise. A win for the Metropolitan side over their visitors from the midlands would see the college outfit leapfrog into second spot in the table and heap more pressure on leaders Wexford Youths.
