Actors needed for new play by Laois playwright Amanda Kelly

’The Bus to Ballyraggett’ is a comic tragedy set in a small town in the midlands of Ireland.

Bingo is the main form of escape for a lot of people from the town and for some, it leads to a game of broken hearts….

Actors needed to play the parts of:-
Mags Murphy – Mid 50’s – unhappily married. Bingo is her escape.
Josie Cullen – Mid 50’s – friend of Mags. Married. Dissatisfied. Bingo goer.
Matt Murphy – Late 50’s – married to Mags. Unemployed. Enjoys telly and the bookies.
*Eddie Carroll – Early 50’s – single. In love with Mags. Bingo goer.
Sticky Phelan – Mid 50’s – single. Bus driver. Lecherous.
Chrissie Brennan – Mid 50’s. Single. Has a ‘good job’ – enjoys Bingo and all social occasions.
Lizzie Lyons – Vulnerable adult – lives at home with her parents.
Bingo Caller – Male/Female
*Mick Cullen – Mid 50’s – married to Josie. Loves G.A.A.
*Actor playing Eddie also plays Mick Cullen and Actor playing Chrissie also plays Lizzie Lyons
