Laois man to ref All-Ireland

The Laois People would like send its congratulations to Courtwood GAA clubman Eddie Kinsella who has just been chosen to referee this year’s All-Ireland senior football final between Kerry and Donegal in Croke Park on Sunday week, 21st September.

This is a great honour for Eddie, his family and his club and Courtwood GAA club, indeed all Laois Gaels, are extremely proud of him and wish him the very best on the big day.

It’s also the ideal time to congratulate Eddie’s four umpires, Niall Murphy, Pat O’Connell, Arthur O’Connor and Alan O’Halloran who are also all members of the Courtwood club. Well done all.
