Laois Locksmith Breaks Open UK Market

LAOIS’S LOCK DOCTOR TO UNLOCK THE UK MARKET

Businessman Malcolm Clein has recently announced plans to expand his highly successful locksmith business into the UK Market.

Since setting up Lock Doctor in 2008, Malcolm has been hugely successful. He runs two Lock Doctor shops himself, while seven other branches across the country are run as franchises.

The announcement comes after Malcolm successfully brought the lost car key services to London for a three-month trial run.

Lock Doctor provides locksmith and security services for homeowners, motorists and businesses. The company offers call-out services for commercial, domestic and motoring clients, employing locksmiths that are security-vetted and carry ID.

Lock Doctor offers a roadside key-cutting service for car owners, a 24-hour emergency phone number for roadside, household and business call-outs, safe and security installations, and home security reviews.

Malcolm Clein said; “Our niche market is the service for vehicle keys, so if somebody loses their car key, we drive to them and we can make a key to start their car at the side of the road,”.

Lock Doctor will base its UK operations in Essex with a view to rolling out throughout the UK over the next two years. This location is close to the M25 corridor and has a catchment area of over three and a half million people.

Commenting on this, Lock Doctor founder and owner, Malcolm Clein said: “Our first location is Stansted Mountfitchet in Essex, close to the Hertfordshire border. The village is three kilometres from Stansted Airport and it is one of the biggest regions in the UK along the M25 corridor and close to ports. We plan on having 10 fully-trained staff working for us there by the end of August”.

As well as breaking into the UK market, Malcolm Clein is also opening new franchises in Cavan, Monaghan, Louth, Donegal and Belfast in the coming months ahead.
