HAVE YOUR SAY ON THE FUTURE OF LAOIS LIBRARIES: There will be an open public meeting on Wednesday 17th January in the Killeshin Hotel, Portlaoise from 6.45 pm to allow the public to have their say on the development of the library service in Laois. All are welcome to attend. If unable to attend you can also have your say by completing a quick online survey here or in writing-more details on our Facebook page! OBSERVING OFFALY PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION: The Gallery at Mountmellick Library is delighted to be exhibiting a selection of beautiful photographs from Veronica Nicholson’s book project, called Observing Offaly, for the month of January 2018. Observing Offaly hardback book consists of 150 unique photographs, is 25x25cm with 128 pages full colour, and is published by Offaly County Council. The book can be purchased here. Images from the book can be purchased by contacting Veronica at 087 948 0498 or vnicholson108@gmail.com
