INIS ARTISTS: Mountmellick Library is delighted to welcome artists from further afield for our December exhibition. Inis artists comprises 15 artist both professional and highly talented amateur artists based in Clare. The society was formed to promote visual art in Clare and Munster. The group covers a wide variety of subjects, styles and media. For more information visit their site here. All are welcome to come and view the exhibition.
CHRISTMAS PARENT AND CHILD CRAFTS: these will take place in Mountmellick library on Wednesday 13th December 3-5 pm and Friday 15thDecember 3-4.30 pm. Drop in and have some fun making some Christmas crafts together!
BABY BOOK CLUB: We are delighted to announce that the Baby Book Club will now take place every Tuesday at 10.30 a.m.Would you like to introduce your baby or young child to books and the love of reading? Baby Book Club in Mountmellick Library is for babies from 0 – 18 months and their parents and siblings. Socialise with other children and babies, listen to rhymes, sing along and pick up reading tips!

JUNIOR CHESS CLUB: The next meeting of the Junior Chess Club will be on Saturday 16th December at 10.30 a.m. for ages 7 – 13 years. Basic knowledge required.
ADULT CHESS CLUB: The adult chess club has started on Saturday mornings at 12 in Mountmellick Library. If you are interested in joining please ring 0578644572 and let us know!
KEEP CALM AND COLOUR IN: The adult colouring group continue to meet on Thursday mornings from 10.30 a.m. onwards in Mountmellick Library! Drop in do some colouring and have a cup of tea and coffee and a chat! All are welcome.
