IRISH HISTORY LIVE:  Michael Moylan returns to Mountmellick Library for his entertaining history shows .This year’s

TALK ON GLENBARROW: Tom Joyce will give a talk on Glenbarrow, a source of inspiration for much of his art, in Mountmellick Library on Tuesday 21st August 7.30-8.30 p.m. All are welcome.

HISTORIC MAPS OF MOUNTMELLICK: Talk on The historic maps of Mountmellick and area on Monday 20thAugust from 7.30-9 p.m. in Mountmellick Library by Arnold Horner. All are welcome.

MOUNTMELLICK HERITAGE SOCIETY EXHIBITION:

There will be an exhibition of photographs and artefacts by The Mountmellick Heritage Society in Mountmellick Library’s Gallery. The launch will be on Tuesday 14th August at 6.30pm. All are welcome to attend.

PARENT AND CHILD LEGO SESSION:

Parent and child Lego session in Mountmellick Library every Wednesday afternoon in August from 2-5 p.m.– come along and let your creativity free as you and with your little ones create with Lego.  Suitable for 7 – 12year olds.

SUMMER STARS AT YOUR LIBRARY:

The 2018 Summer Stars reading adventure is running in your local library now! It is an exciting free programme available to all children across the country. There will be rewards and incentives along the way for books read over the summer holidaysand a grand finale event at the end. Keep reading!
