EASTER CRAFTS: Parent and child drop in crafts at Mountmellick library on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th March. No need to book just drop in!
STORY MASSAGE: Story Massage is a fun and interactive way of combining the creativity of story telling with the benefits of massage. Mountmellick Library will be hosting an introduction to story massage with Catriona Holohan for parents and children aged between 4-9 years on Wednesday 4th April at 11 am. JELENA STRAIZIENE ART EXHIBITION– will be on display in The Gallery in Mountmellick Library for the month of March. Jelena uses a variety of mediums in her paintings to create bright, intense imagery. “City lights reflected in rain drops, architectural fragments of old streets, all the moods and emotions I write in my imagination to then pass through colors and lines. Painting allows me to learn more about me and the world”. The exhibition is free for all during library hours. All are welcome.

BABY BOOK CLUB: The Club is now on every Tuesday morning in Mountmellick Library.Would you like to introduce your baby or young child to books and the love of reading? Baby Book Club in Mountmellick Library is for babies from 0 – 18 months and their parents and siblings. Socialise with other children and babies, listen to rhymes, sing along and pick up reading tips!
ADULT COLOURING GROUP: This group meets every Thursday morning from 10.30 a.m. on in Mountmellick Library. All are welcome and tea and coffee are provided.
ADULT CHESS CLUB: The adult chess club is on every Saturday mornings (except any Saturday of a Bank Holiday weekend) at 12 in Mountmellick Library. Why not drop in for a game?
JUNIOR CHESS CLUB: The Junior Chess Club is now on every Saturday morning (except any Saturday of a Bank Holiday weekend) at 10.30 a.m. for ages 7 – 13 years. Basic knowledge required.
