Kilcullen Canoe Club Annual Ranking Race – A huge congratulations to club members who took part in last weekend’s Kilcullen Canoe Club Race. This was a ranking race and well done to Eilish, Matt and Paul who came third in their respective categories.
Summer Kayaking Schedule – The club will have two intakes for beginner/introduction kayaking this summer. These will take place on a Wednesday night starting 13th May until the 3rd June from 7pm to 9pm with a maximum number of 10 people. Juniors will be €70 and Seniors will be €80 for the course. Level 2 assessment for this course is on Saturday 6th June. Payment includes Canoeing Ireland Membership (one year), LKCC Membership (one year), Level 1/2 Kayaking Skills Assessment, 4 evenings kayaking training and use of kayaking equipment. The second intake of training will take place from 29th July until the 19th August with assessment on Saturday 22nd August. These lessons must be pre-booked on our website. Interested in Kayaking – If you are interested in taking up paddling, we will be having training sessions in the coming months as the evenings get longer and these sessions are a perfect opportunity to try it out.
