Laois Foróige Clubs Reach National Talent Final

Ratheniska and Camross Foróige Clubs win at this years regional Final hosted by Balyna Foróige Club in Rapture NightClub, Co. Kildare. Over 160 members from across Kildare and Laois came together in a celebration of talent and ability as they competed for the two spaces available to represent their county at the national finals in April.

Cian and Katie both did renditions of Lukas Graham’s ‘7 years’ but that’s where the similarities ended. Their interpretation and delivery were both captivating and melodic as both acts received standing ovations from the members and the Judges.

After the winners were announced the 160 strong membership enjoyed, for some of them, their first experience of a real nightclub. The Balyna Foróige club in Johnstown Bridge who organised the event were delighted to have the support of all the Laois clubs who made the event such a success.

The National Competition will have over 200 acts compete in Dance, Singing and Variety to crown overall winners and Laois 2016 will have a strong showing and will be this years “ones to beat”.
