Laois Arts Awards and Opportunities
Applications are now available for arts awards and opportunities for individuals/groups and organisations from Laois.
- Arts Act Grants 2018 open to groups and individuals who meet the artistic and financial criteria set down by Laois County Council.
- The Tyrone Guthrie Residency Bursary Award, to enable two Laois artists to spend one week working at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in County Monaghan.
- The Artists in Schools Scheme to give primary and post primary schools the opportunity to apply for artists residencies, to select and work with professional artists and explore new arts media.
- Expressions of interest are invited for Culture Night 2018 from culture groups and individuals interested in organising events to be included in the funding application process for 2018. Details and forms from T: 057 8664033 E: artsoff@laoiscoco.ie W: www.laois.ie.

Summer Arts Programme; part of an expanding Arts offering to young and old in Laois
- Have you something interesting to tell us about the Arts in Laois? The Arts Office are also seeking articles on Arts and Culture in Laois for possible inclusion in the next edition of the Midlands Arts Magazine due to be published in March and covering the months up to September. Please submit your article/s (200 words or less) to the Arts Office- email address artsoff@laoiscoco.ie before the deadline 15th February. 2 good quality images are also requested to go with articles if possible.
