Laois Alzheimer’s Society Resource Centre to open
Laois Alzheimer’s Society Resource Centre at 47 Main Street Portlaoise will be open from Monday 30th July 2018.
Laois Alzheimer Society is a Homecare Service for Laois people who are living with Dementia. We look after the day to day needs of people and assist in making life more enjoyable for their families.
We hold Social Clubs on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month at 2.30-4.30pm for people with Dementia and their carers. This is a very relaxed informal event where activities, fun and chat can be shared over a cup of tea
We have started going On Tour with our Social Club so check local press notes for updates.
Our Family Support Club in on the 3rd Wednesday of every month between 7.30 and 9pm in the Resource Centre, 47 Main Street, Portlaoise. The support groups for family carers to get together. Share their stories, get advice and give support to others in a similar situation.
