Irish Times checks Abbeyleix’s business pulse

The Irish Times is, yet again, heading down the country and taking the nation’s economic pulse. This time the Irish newspaper of record has taken a close look at the economic health of Abbeyleix. Four local business people were asked for their views on where their businesses and town are economically speaking.

They are Jenny Kent of Abbeyleix Manor Hotel, Marie Quinn at Quinn’s Tea Rooms, local estate agent Fintan Dunne and local retailer Stanley Fyffe. Click here for the full Irish Times article.

Overall the four local business people point to a very slight improvement in the local economy and in their own businesses.
