To assist music groups in Laois to apply for funding for instruments through the Music Capital Scheme, Music Network in partnership with Laois County Council Arts Office, will hold an information session on Friday 9th February at Portlaoise Further Education and Training Centre, Tower Hill, Portlaoise, Co. Laois commencing at 7pm.

Funding for your group’s musical instruments available

The Music Capital Scheme, supported by the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht and managed by Music Network, comprises two distinct awards that provide funding for the purchase of musical instruments to both non-professional performing groups and to individual professional performing musicians. This session will focus on Award 1 for non-professional community groups.

The Music Capital Scheme is now open for applications with a deadline of 12 pm (noon) on Tuesday 20th February 2018. Further information is available online here.
