Graiguecullen ‘Big Switch on’
Thank you to everyone who braved the weather and came out last week for our annual turning on of the Christmas tree lights at ‘The Croppy’ in Graiguecullen. The choirs did an amazing job of keeping us entertained. Santa and his helpers got to meet all the boys and girls and collect the letters. They are now safely back in the North Pole.
Unfortunately the club’s U-21 side went down to opponents Portlaoise in the semi-final of the Laois U-21 Football Championship on a scoreline of 1-11 to 2-5. Commiserations to Graiguecullen and best wishes to Portlaoise as they seek a football and hurling ‘double’ in this grade.
Killeshin Community Centre
A massive thank you to everyone who turned up last week to start the Christmas celebrations here in Killeshin. It was great to see all the children singing and enjoying themselves and all the mammies, daddies, grannies, granddads, friends, families and neighbours getting into the festive spirit!

A big thank you to Dixie Chic Parties for supplying the candy cart, it went down a real treat with the kids! And lastly a big thanks to the committee here for organising everything and all the extra helpers for making the night a huge success! Looking forward to next year’s one already.

Killeshin Ladies Football Club will be holding their annual Christmas night out in The Mall on Saturday 19th of December. All past and present players , supporters and parents are all welcome. Music on the night too.
