George Clooney on visiting Laois

The wonderful ripple effects of George Clooney’s visit to Laois keep rolling on. Fresh from visiting our beautiful Ireland George waxed lyrical with Late Night host Jimmy Kimmel on fatherhood, spending Easter at Bono’s house and, of course, that trip to Ballyfin Demesne to meet his Laois relatives. Here’s hoping that the Hollywood actor’s familial ties with our county will result in increased numbers of visitors coming here. One hopes we will see a George Clooney-inspired marketing campaign for Laois soon as well.
