In fact the Portlaoise-based TD is edging toward a second quota. His transfers may well help former Sinn Fein now Independent outgoing TD Carol Nolan capture the fifth and final seat. Marcella Corcoran Kennedy TD (FG) is in danger of losing her seat. So tentatively we suggest it could be SF x 1, FF x 2, FG x 1 and Carol Nolan TD gaining final seat if she is transfer-friendly and especially if she gets Brian Stanley’s transfers. Brian Stanley TD to be elected on first count followed by Barry Cowen TD (FF), Sean Fleming TD (FF) Charlie Flanagan TD (FG) and either Carol Nolan TD (Ind) or Peter Ormond (FF)  for final seat.
