Emo Court, the Jewel on our Doorstep!
There is free access on the first Wednesday of each month (starting Wednesday May 5) up until the end of September to Emo Court the fine neo-classical home of the Earls of Portarlington for six generations. The house is open every day of the week until September 23 from 10am to 5.30pm with access via tours on the hour every hour from 10am to 5pm. Admission prices on days other than the first Wednesday of each month are adults €4, seniors €3, children/students €2, children under six free, and family tickets are €10. Admission to the Father Brown exhibition is accessed through the entrance hall to Emo Court and is free. The beautiful gardens and parkland containing formal lawns, a lake, beautiful walks and many fine specimen tree and shrubs is open 365 days a year during the daylight hours and admission to the grounds is free.
