Fisherstown Trad Fest

The Fisherstown Trad Fest will be held on June on June 26th – 28th 2015 at the picturesque surroundings of the Fisherman’s Thatched Inn. The Inn is located on an ancient crossroads on what was once the main highway between Tara, home to the high kings of Ireland and Cashel. Our committee thinks this is a fitting location for our festival objective to promote community spirit, community involvement, traditional music, traditional songs, story telling and good food.

Within this event we will have indoor and outdoor venues to host our main acts, workshops and many areas dedicated to live and impromptu music sessions, our festival stalls and family relaxation area which will host story telling, classes for families, a stage area for young and talented musicians and music groups from around the locality to perform and promote their skills.

Our main acts for weekend are Goitse and the TriTones along with a list of up and comers on the Irish traditional music scene. We will be announcing a more detailed line up along with a program of events over the coming weeks.
