Evelyn Cusack – Deputy Head of Forecasting at Met Éireann, Secretary of the Irish Meteorological Society, and a well known RTÉ weather presenter. Born in Clonaslee.
Claire Byrne – Journalist, presenter and newsreader with RTE. Born in Mountrath.
Darina Allen – Chef, food writer and TV personality. Born in Cullohill.
