Talk on Ireland’s Railways
Local historian and former Portarlington school Principal, Niall McElwaine, will give a talk titled “General History of Ireland’s Railways” in the Heritage Hotel, Portlaoise, on Thursday March 19th at 8pm. It is the first talk in the Spring series of lectures organised by Laois Heritage Society. It promises to be a very interesting evening and all are welcome.
