On 5th April 2017 Portlaoise College will host the 1st Annual Midlands Leadership Congress for secondary school students.
Already 7 schools from the Midlands and North Tipperary have entered teams
showcasing leadership initiatives they are undertaking in their school.
There are two elements to the congress, firstly the competition where teams of secondary school students demonstrate leadership initiatives they are undertaking in their school.
Great event organised and hosted by Portlaoise College.
Secondary students not entering the competition will have the opportunity to listen to inspirational speakers such as Adam Harris who founded the AsIAm foundation to break down the stigma surrounding autism. Also speaking will be Kelly Lou from Kelly Lou Cakes
