The next Laois Heritage Society presents……….talk takes place on Thursday, November 17th, at 8pm in the Heritage Hotel. Rory O’Dwyer historian and lecturer in UCC will give a most interesting talk on the ‘Transportation of Irish Convicts to Australia’. Come along and hear more about the Irish who went on to contribute to the continent of Oz. All are welcome.
