An evening with John Carlos
On Monday the 6th of October in the Maldron Hotel Portlaoise Irish author and photojournalist John Carlos will give a presentation of the images that led to him writing his book “Ireland’s Western Islands”. This book brings you back to Ireland in the late 60’s, 70’s and 80’s and captures a time now passed. A few tickets costing €10 will be available on the door and this event is supported by five local camera clubs, Athy, Birr, Newbridge, Mountrath & Tullamore.
