Emo Court the fine country home of the Earls of Portarlington for six generations, then the Jesuit seminary for 39 years, then the home of Mr Cholmley Harrison and now in State ownership is now open every day of the week until September 23 from 10.00am to 5.30pm.

There is a free exhibition of the work of Father Frank Brown, the famous photographer who sailed on the first leg of the Titanic voyage.Tours of the house are on the hour every hour from 10.00am to 5.00pm. Admission prices for the tour are adults €4, senior €3, children/students €2, children under six free, and family tickets are €10.

Admission to the Father Brown exhibition is accessed through the entrance hall to Emo Court and is free. The beautiful gardens and parkland containing formal lawns, a lake, beautiful walks and many fine specimen tree and shrubs is open 365 days a year during the daylight hours and admission to the grounds is free.
