Emo Celtic Results 31/10/15
The U10’s got revenge for last week’s defeat by beating Mountmellick 2-0 away. The goals came from Callum Keegan and Joseph Keogh
The club’s U11 Major side continued their good run of results by beating Portlaoise 5-0. A feature of this game was another hat trick from David Costello on the day.
The club’s U11 East outfit lost away to Abbeyleix but put up a good performance.
The U12’s lost 2-0 away to T&S in a tight game.
Our U13’s drew 2-2. Emo created plenty of chances to win the game but were fortunate to come away with the draw thanks to a fantastic save from Sam Krebs in the dying seconds.
The U14’s won 2-0 at home to St Aengus.It took the lads a while to get going but goals from Sean Greene and Paddy Hosey sealed the win.
The U16 Girls came out the wrong side of a 7-5 beating from Bealnamulla in Emo. It was a good performance from the girls but their failure to take their chances was their downfall.
