BLOOD CLINIC:
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service Mobile unit will be in the Castle Arms Hotel, Durrow on Wednesday December 9th from 4.30pm to 8pm. We appeal to everyone who can donate blood to come along and give the gift of life. The supply of blood is quite low due to the temporary ban on women giving blood but this ban is now lifted and everyone over the age of 18 years both male and female can attend and give blood. The demand for blood coming up to the Christmas period is always high and would it be a super gift to give by donating blood and saving lives at Christmas time.
