Dream Machine for Timahoe’s Dean

A Timahoe man jetted off to London last week to receive an incredible prize – a Suzuki Jimny worth £19,000 PLUS a whopping £20,000 in cash, thanks to dream car competition, BOTB.

Dean’s dream machine!

Dean Lacumber, 30, was swept off in the early hours of this morning to meet the team, his new wheels – and the £20,000 cash which he forgot he’d even played for!

“I tapped the £20,000 button by mistake and it turned out to be the best mistake I’ve ever made!” said Dean, who plans to invest his money into buying a house.

“I couldn’t quite believe that it was happening, I’ve never won anything before so I’m delighted! The Jimny is way cooler than I ever imagined and definitely a bit too fancy for me – I feel really lucky.”

The mechanic, who has been entering the competition for three years, was drawn to the Suzuki for its off-roading capabilities.

“At the moment I live in the middle of nowhere so the Jimny would be ideal,” said Dean.

Since being founded in 1999 by William Hindmarch, BOTB has given away over £29m worth of prizes and jetted off to multiple destinations such as Lanzarote, Belgium and Dubai to surprise lucky winners.

Listed on the stock market, BOTB has high-profile stands at airports, as well as online at

His friends and family were also thrilled after Dean told them the good news.

“They’re all really excited – I think the whole of Ireland will be signing up to BOTB at this rate!”

Dean’s dream machine!

BOTB’s Christian Williams said that Dean was a great winner; “We are very fortunate to be able to travel around the world – so it’s always great when we get to treat our winners to a jet-setting surprise! I hope Dean enjoys racing around on and off-road in his new car.”
