LADIES MINI MARATHON:

Anyone interested in availing of a bus to the Ladies Mini Marathon, on the June Bank Holiday Monday should contact Marie Clooney. The bus will leave for Dublin at 10am sharp on Monday June 6th.

Saturday 28th May @ 9.30am Level 2 Kayak Skills Assessment. Each Friday evening in May the club house will be open from 7.30 for practice and kayaking. June:- Each Wednesday Evening @ 7.30pm Mid-Week Splash Around, Club House, Durrow, Sunday 05th June @ 9.30am Club Trip to Green’s Weir, Kilkenny – Level 3 skills training. Sunday 12th June @ 10.30am Club Trip to Kilfarassy Caves, Copper Coast, Waterford.

Irish Freestyle Junior Championships:

The club would like to wish Mikie Murphy the best of luck in Germany competing with the Junior Freestyle Irish Team.
Sponsored Kayaking Run: The Club are running a sponsored kayaking trip from Durrow to Ballyraggett in the coming weeks and members will be selling lines for same. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

HANDBALL:

Cullohill Handball Club are running a Feile Fundraising Cabaret in O’Connell’s on Sunday 29th of May. Live Music and a door prize of a Trailer Load of Timber. Please support our 20 Handballers.

CLOTHES COLLECTION POINT:

Any old or unwanted clothes or fabric can be left in the porch of the Cullohill Community Centre. All collections are in aid of Cullohill Handball Club.

HARPS:

Best of luck to our U14s this week as they face Clonaslee away on Monday evening at 6.30pm in Football, then on Friday evening (May 27th) the hurlers travel to Clonad to play a combined team of Clonad-Park-Rathineska also at 6.30pm. Then on Saturday 28th of May, the Junior Hurlers play Shanahoe at 7pm in Shanahoe as part of the Division 2 Hurling League.

Durrow Saturday market is open every Saturday from 9am to 12.30pm in the Computer Centre beside the RC Church on the Kilkenny Rd. Potato’s and Fresh Veg are available, to book your favourites please ring Marie on (087) 7742506. Home Baking from Bernie Brennan is also available with a selection of fresh breads, scones, tarts and cakes. You can also book cakes for parties etc…
